FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We offer three trip options: a 2-Hour Beginners/Kids Trip (perfect for first-timers and junior anglers), a 3-Hour Fisherman’s Special (ideal for experienced anglers), and a Half-Day Morning & Afternoon Trip (4 hours, the best value for families and groups). All trips depart from the Santa Rosa Beach / Choctawhatchee Bay area.

All charters include: fishing tackle and rods, bait, fishing licenses for all guests, a USCG-licensed and insured captain, and expert guidance throughout your trip. You just need to bring sunscreen, snacks, drinks, and a valid ID. We handle everything else!

Choctawhatchee Bay is home to world-class inshore fishing. Primary target species include Redfish (Red Drum), Speckled Trout (Spotted Sea Trout), and Flounder. Depending on the season, you may also encounter Sheepshead, Pompano, and other inshore species.

Absolutely! We specialize in family-friendly fishing experiences. Captain Trey is patient and experienced with all skill levels, from young children catching their first fish to seasoned anglers looking to target trophy redfish. No experience is necessary — we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

The 2-hour Beginners/Kids Trip starts at $500 for up to 4 guests. The 3-hour Fisherman’s Special starts at $650 for up to 4 guests. Half-day trips start at $750 for up to 4 guests. Additional guests are $25, $50, or $75 per person depending on the trip. All gear, bait, and fishing license included.

We recommend bringing: sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), sunglasses with polarized lenses, a hat or cap, light layers or a rain jacket, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, a valid photo ID, and a camera for those trophy fish photos! We provide all fishing equipment.

Yes! Your fishing license is included in the charter price for all guests. You do not need to purchase a separate license. We are fully licensed, insured, and operate under USCG regulations for your safety and peace of mind.

We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (May–September) and holiday weekends. However, we do occasionally have last-minute availability — call or text us at (850) 400-2242 to check. Book early to secure your preferred date!
