Every fish has a season, so there’s no need to put away your fishing rods yet. There are fish to be caught.
Rising Sun Expeditions can take you to the best inshore/near shore fishing spots for you to catch your dinner, along with some fish stories. Until December 31 gag grouper is still in season. During October and November, striped bass (stripers), sunshine bass (sunshines) and catfish are in season. October and November are prime time in our region for big flatheads and blue catfish. You may also find good results with bass, bluegill and specks through November.
There is no reason to be disappointed with fall fishing because there are plenty of fish to be found in local waters. Inshore fishing is always in season, so get ready to cast off. You won’t be disappointed.
Your guide will be happy to provide info on fish in season and pertinent regulations regarding size and number of fish you can catch for the best fishing experience you could imagine.
